Refund policy

This Return and Refund Policy applies to purchases made through boogdazegx.shop.

We want our customers to understand clearly how voluntary change-of-mind returns, faulty products, damaged products, incorrect products, refunds and other return-related matters are handled.

Important Australian Consumer Law Notice

Our voluntary return conditions do not exclude, restrict or modify any consumer guarantees, rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.

Australian businesses cannot use refund policies or terms and conditions to take away statutory rights concerning faulty or non-compliant products. Depending on the nature of a failure, an Australian consumer may be entitled to remedies including repair, replacement or refund.

1. 30-Day Voluntary Change-of-Mind Returns

In addition to any rights available under Australian law, boogdazegx.shop voluntarily permits eligible products to be returned for change of mind within:

30 days after delivery.

To request a change-of-mind return, contact:

info@boogdazegx.shop

within the 30-day period.

This voluntary policy provides additional benefits and does not replace Australian Consumer Law rights.

2. Change-of-Mind Eligibility

For an ordinary voluntary change-of-mind return, the product should:

  • Be returned within 30 days after delivery;
  • Be unused or only reasonably inspected;
  • Be in substantially original condition;
  • Not have been intentionally damaged;
  • Include accessories, components and packaging reasonably associated with the product where available; and
  • Be capable of being reasonably resold.

We may request the order number or other information reasonably necessary to identify the purchase.

3. Products Not Eligible for Voluntary Change-of-Mind Returns

For hygiene, safety, customisation or practical reasons, certain products may not qualify for voluntary change-of-mind returns where applicable.

Examples may include:

  • Personalised or custom-made products;
  • Perishable products;
  • Products that have been materially used;
  • Products damaged after delivery through misuse;
  • Sealed hygiene-sensitive products after the seal has been removed where resale would be inappropriate; and
  • Products specifically identified before purchase as non-returnable for change-of-mind purposes where legally permitted.

These exclusions apply only to voluntary change-of-mind returns.

They do not remove rights available under the Australian Consumer Law where a product is faulty, unsafe, not as described or otherwise fails to satisfy a statutory consumer guarantee.

4. How to Request a Return

Before returning an item, contact:

Email: info@boogdazegx.shop

Please provide:

  • Your order number;
  • Your name;
  • Your email address;
  • The product you wish to return;
  • The reason for the return; and
  • Photographs where relevant to a damage, fault or incorrect-product claim.

We will review the request and provide applicable return instructions.

5. Do Not Return Products Without Instructions

Please do not automatically return products to an address appearing on the original shipping package.

Warehouses, carriers and fulfilment centres used for outbound shipments may not necessarily be authorised to process returns.

Contact:

info@boogdazegx.shop

for the applicable return procedure.

6. Change-of-Mind Return Shipping

For an eligible voluntary change-of-mind return, the customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the product unless we expressly agree otherwise.

We recommend using a tracked shipping method because customers remain responsible for demonstrating that their voluntary return was sent.

This rule does not apply where return costs must be borne by us under applicable Australian consumer law.

7. Faulty Products and Australian Consumer Guarantees

Australian Consumer Law provides automatic consumer guarantees for qualifying products and services.

If you believe a product has a defect or does not satisfy an applicable consumer guarantee, contact:

info@boogdazegx.shop

Your rights in those circumstances are not limited to the 30-day voluntary return period.

The existence or expiry of a manufacturer's or voluntary warranty does not necessarily determine whether Australian Consumer Law rights continue to apply.

8. Major Problems

Where a product has a problem that constitutes a major failure under applicable Australian Consumer Law, the consumer may have rights to reject the goods and choose an applicable remedy in accordance with the law.

We will not apply our voluntary change-of-mind conditions to improperly restrict those statutory remedies.

9. Minor Problems

Where a product has a minor problem, Australian Consumer Law may permit the supplier an opportunity to provide an appropriate remedy, such as repair.

The ACCC distinguishes minor problems from major problems when determining available remedies.

10. Damaged Products

If an item arrives damaged, contact us as soon as reasonably practicable at:

info@boogdazegx.shop

Please provide:

  • Your order number;
  • A description of the damage;
  • Photographs of the product; and
  • Photographs of the packaging where reasonably possible.

Photographic information can assist us in investigating shipping damage and determining the appropriate solution.

11. Incorrect Products

If you receive a different product from the one ordered, contact:

info@boogdazegx.shop

Please provide your order number and, where useful, photographs of the product received.

Where we have supplied the incorrect item, we will review the matter and provide an appropriate remedy.

12. Missing Items

If your package arrives but one or more ordered items are missing, contact:

info@boogdazegx.shop

Please provide:

  • Order number;
  • Details of the missing product;
  • Details of products received; and
  • Photographs of the package where appropriate.

Some orders may be sent in multiple packages, so we may first check whether another shipment remains in transit.

13. Incorrect Size, Colour or Variant Selected by Customer

If the correct product was supplied according to the customer's order but the customer selected an incorrect size, colour, quantity or variant, the request will generally be handled as a voluntary change-of-mind return.

The 30-day voluntary return conditions therefore apply.

14. Sale and Discounted Products

A sale, discount or promotional price does not remove Australian Consumer Law rights.

The ACCC has specifically warned against policies suggesting that statutory refund rights disappear merely because an item was sold at a discount.

Eligible sale products may also be returned under our voluntary 30-day change-of-mind policy unless a legally permissible change-of-mind exclusion was clearly disclosed before purchase.

15. Inspection of Returns

We may inspect returned products after receipt.

For voluntary returns, the inspection may confirm:

  • The identity of the product;
  • Whether the return was requested within 30 days;
  • Whether the product has been materially used or damaged; and
  • Whether relevant components are present.

Statutory consumer-guarantee claims will be assessed according to applicable Australian law rather than being rejected solely because of our voluntary-return conditions.

16. Refunds for Voluntary Returns

Once an eligible voluntary return has been received and approved, the applicable refund will ordinarily be issued to the original payment method.

We do not charge a standard outbound shipping fee because all orders receive free standard shipping.

The customer remains responsible for change-of-mind return shipping unless otherwise agreed.

17. Refunds for Faulty or Non-Compliant Products

Where a refund is legally required under the Australian Consumer Law, we will provide the applicable remedy without improperly applying voluntary change-of-mind restrictions.

Businesses cannot impose store policies that override statutory refund or replacement rights for faulty products.

18. Refund Processing

After we issue a refund, the payment provider, bank or card issuer may require additional processing time before the refund appears in the customer's account.

This financial-institution processing occurs outside our direct control.

19. Original Payment Method

Refunds will ordinarily be returned to the payment method originally used for the purchase unless:

  • Another method is agreed;
  • The original method is unavailable; or
  • Applicable law requires another approach.

20. Exchanges

Direct exchanges may not always be available.

Where a customer wants a different size, colour or product, we may ask the customer to return the original eligible product and place a separate order.

This administrative procedure does not limit Australian Consumer Law remedies.

21. Order Cancellation

If you wish to cancel an order before it is dispatched, contact:

info@boogdazegx.shop

as soon as possible.

We will attempt to stop the order before shipment where operationally possible.

However, orders may move into fulfilment quickly and cancellation before dispatch cannot always be guaranteed.

22. Return Abuse and Fraud

We may investigate suspected fraudulent or abusive return activity, including:

  • Returning a different item;
  • Returning counterfeit products;
  • Deliberately damaging a product;
  • Manipulating tracking records;
  • Making knowingly false non-delivery claims; or
  • Attempting to obtain duplicate refunds.

This provision does not permit us to deny genuine rights under Australian Consumer Law.

23. Consumer Rights Take Priority

If any voluntary provision in this policy conflicts with a mandatory consumer right that applies under Australian law, the mandatory right will prevail.
